BASIC SKILLS IN WORKING LIFE
Basic skills training as strategy for vocational training in companies
European work life is changing rapidly. A key word is the development from manual production to modern automatised and digitalised production going hand in hand in many countries, but certainly in the project partnering countries of Austria, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Slovenia and the UK, with a growing mismatch between vocational education and training (VET) and the labour market.
BASIC SKILLS IN WORKING LIFE focuses on the growing gap between industry demand for competencies and skill levels in the workforce, particularly for employees with weak basic skills and will perform practical training in different branches / companies.
