EU-PROTECT – “SECURITY PERSONNEL ONLINE TRAINING IN DETECTING RISKY AND DECEPTIVE BEHAVIOUR“

The threats to EU citizens´ physical security in the light of terrorist acts in Paris (20.04.2017) in Brussels (22.03.2016) and in other European metropolises raise critical questions as the preparedness of the security systems to respond in an effective manner.

EU-PROTECT project aims to develop an innovative online training in 5 languages (EN, BG, RO, IT and AT) for private security guards working at public places, characterised with large human cross-section and flows (airport, metro station, shopping centre, etc). The training will equip them with knowledge, skills and motivation to detect risky and deceptive behaviours and take effective actions to prevent suicidal terroristic attacks.

Our partnership unites the efforts of 5 organisations from Bulgaria, Romania, Italy and Austria.

EU-PROTECT provides online training and policy guidelines for C-VET of private security guards in the consortium countries and Europe in general.
