Referencing 10,000 exercices for key competences and the European Language Portfolio via a search engine

This new project aims at providing teachers, trainers and learners with a collection of exercices in at least three of the most prevalent and most taught languages in Europe (English – German – French). These exercices can be found via a search engine according to new criteria complementing numerous existing criteria.

The project values language diversity. All exercices are available in three languages (English, German, French), some are additionally available in Bulgarian, Portuguese and Luxembourgian.

In a previous project, a search engine was developed which enables teachers to search for, find and use tools for developing cross-disciplinary and language skills to use with young people with learning difficulties.

The present project introduces further important search criteria:

  • Referencing of 7000 exercices in English, German, French and Bulgarian according to the 30 competences of the European Language Portfolio
  • Referencing of 7000 exercices in English, German, French and Bulgarian according to the reference system for key competences in professional situations

Another 3000 exercices are going to be introduced into the search engine.
