NewFuture – Better mental wellbeing for the refugees in their new future

The NewFuture project adresses VET staff/professionals working with refugees and wants to equip them with skills to recognize people in distress, provide appropriate support, improve cultural competences. as well as understand and respect refugee cultures.

The project is also dedicated to raising awareness of refugees themselves of mental health, promoting self-expression and -reflection, preparing and empowering potential volunteers and refugee community Leaders.

The objectives of NewFuture are mainly achieved by the development of our “Training Kit for Trainers”, the implementation of our “Train the Trainers” Training, national workshops and piloting and a framework design for a guide for volunteers and community leaders.
