NO GAPS – Transnational methodology of socio-labor intervention with young women asylum seekers and refugees |
EUROSTAT shows 2017 45% among women seeking asylum in Europe are between 14 and 34 years old. They belong to one of the most vulnerable groups today what has to be noted in the inclusion in social life and into the labour market. A study published by FEMM highlights the importance of their workforce for long-term promotion of women refugees’ inclusion into society (France Terre d’Asile 2006).
Training activities belong to one pillar of their social integration helping them acquire professional skills for the new labour market. A Digital Database, Training Curriculum, Open Education Resources provided by the NO GAP project, shall help in this respect.
