Prosilient VET |
The Prosilient VET project is part of our long-term effort among organisations from Romania, Bulgaria, Austria and Italy to support professional development of our trainers and experts in the field of VET (vocational education and training). In our consortium, we have three VET centres (Romania, Austria and Italy) and one VET expertise partner (Bulgaria). With the outbreak of COVID-19 and the systemic transformations triggered by the pandemic in the economies across Europe, the VET sector has become focus of policymakers and practitioners’ attention. The main target group of our efforts are our VET trainers. The influence of COVID-19 on them can be summarised as an increasing risk for professional burnout, which has varied consequences, such as absenteeism from work, abandonment of the profession, diseases, emotional exhaustion and anxiety.
With our project we would like to contribute to enhance trainers’ resilience in their professional daily practice. We would like to evidence the importance of trainers’ intended self-care work, in order to be effective and provide high quality teaching in a sustained manner.
Our main result: an online VET resilience toolbox for trainers.
