Enttrain – Entrepreneurship training for the unemployed
Entrepreneurship training as a path towards sustainable labour market integration has become a growing policy priority for the European Commission over the last years. All over Europe, a great deal of attention is paid to the work of advisers in three groups of employees of the labour market: young people aged 18 to 25 years old, employees in the 55 plus age group and employees, who have to deal with limitations in their taxability. These vulnerable groups are a “challenge” to mediate, especially if unemployed or if they want to establish themselves as self-employed on the labour market. To support in this respect teachers and trainers already working with jobseekers, the project partners from Norway, Austria, Spain and the Netherlands organise a comprehensive training programme for entrepreneurship training for the unemployed, in order to develop new business ideas and providing them with the skills and confidence to convert them into action.
Outcomes planned are:
- The Mapping, needs analysis and creation of a curriculum,
- useful educational material and
- a roadmap for educators in entrepreneurship and self-employment.
