ADEIGUS
Adult educational information and guidance service |
Rationale and Motivation
Adult education in Europe varies from country to country and the adults who participate in lifelong learning have each different objectives. Irrespectively of age, origin, social or economic background, adult education must be accessible, transparent and inclusive. However, on one hand, some adults are struggling to find their way through the adult education path, while on the other, professionals need to obtain a broader knowledge and optimise the existing framework and practices in adult educational guidance and information services.
Aims and Target Groups
The ADEIGUS project aims to raise the participation of adults, decrease the inequality in adult education and improve the information and guidance services, by developing the skills of counsellors and educational professionals.
Partners and Outcomes
A partnership between Belgium, Lithuania, Finland, United Kingdom, Slovenia and Austria was established to promote innovation, exchange of practices and know-how in adult educational information and guidance services. 72 professionals will be involved in activities of transnational cooperation, study visits and continuous professional development.
