Let the Hopes Blossom |
Early school leaving is an obstacle to economic growth and employment. It hampers productivity and competitiveness, and fuels poverty and social exclusion. With its shrinking workforce, Europe has to make full use of its human resources. Young people who leave education and training prematurely are bound to lack skills and qualifications and therefore will face serious, persistent problems on the labour market.
The youngsters falling into the category of early school leavers and juvenile delinquents come generally from disadvantaged backgrounds with fewer opportunities and are given priority by European Commission.
Let the Hopes Blossom project aims to develop a new joint methodology and e-training course including training the adults dealing with juvenile delinquents and school dropouts and as a result contribute to the decrease in the European rates of unemployment.
