Through Entrepreneurship Education towards improving the quality of VET

A new priority for European companies has been aiming at increasing the competitiveness of entrepreneurship education. Its aim, especially in EU countries, is cultivating the skills and competencies associated with individual business people in terms of creativity, innovation and risk-bearing capacity, as well as planning and managing projects. The Czech Republic has so far, however, paid attention to entrepreneurship education in secondary schools mainly with an economic focus.

Education for entrepreneurship, respectively entrepreneurship in secondary technical and vocational schools in the South Bohemia Region, shall benefit from exchange of experience with foreign partners – Latvia and Portugal – and a specific training program for teachers of secondary vocational schools and vocational schools in teaching entrepreneurship.
