Strategies to strengthen executive functions in adults

Neuropsychologists consider executive functions as crucial for everyday living as they refer to the abilities that enable people to plan, focus attention, remember and juggle multiple tasks. To focus more about executive function disorders (EFD) means having a better understanding of adults and their unique profile of strengths and weaknesses.

The SOFIA project aims to create tools that help adults improve, enhance and develop strategies for managing their executive functions in order to achieve a better integration/social inclusion. The project involves the following countries: Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Poland and Romania and teachers/trainers/counsellors working in adult education, as well as career guidance, who receive a new toolkit of methods and techniques.
