Project “Act Out”: Conceptual Framework

The Act Out partnership has recently finalised the conceptual framework on Theatre of the Oppressed Workshops, focusing on Forum Theatre and Methodology of Polarisation (MoP) techniques for the benefit of young learners and participants in various programmes.

It is designed for adult educators, facilitators and youth workers and addresses the increasing challenges of polarisation and segregation in European youth work, education and civil society activities, by bringing together socially divided youth groups. The conceptual famework includes also a sample for a workshop using these theatre techniques and a guide for the implementation in various settings, tailored to the needs of diverse groups.

Further results of the project will be an interactive toolbox and two showcases about the Forum Theatre and Methodology of Polarisation techniques applied in practice.
