Project Support Family Business (SFaB): Multiplier Event in Vienna
The Austrian Multiplier Event of the SFaB project took place on 28th July 2022 in Vienna. 35 participants working in family businesses were invited to the Austrian multiplier event of Support Family Business.
The aim of the event was to publicise the Support Family Business (SFaB) project to a wider audience during the project period and to gain an insight into the concerns of family businesses. the project and its objectives were presented to the audience. This was followed by a presentation of the expected results of the “Support Family Business” (SFaB) project, such as the virtual learning environment, the MOOC and the learning programme with its five topics.
The audience then had the opportunity to learn more about the proposed five course topics and their learning objectives. all participants were of the opinion that family businesses are a special type of company and sometimes have to deal with issues that are not relevant for other companies; strategic orientation, succession planning, ownership issues and the need to reconcile work and family better than in other constellations were mentioned.
