Move Up
Move Up – Boosting the Social Skills of Adults for Better Employability and Success at Work |
Social skills are the skills we use to communicate and interact with each other, both verbally and non-verbally, through gestures, body language and our personal appearance. The fact that some people are better ‘social interactors’ than others has led to detailed investigations into the nature and function of interpersonal interaction. Developing social skills is about being aware of how we communicate with others, the messages we send and how methods of communication can be improved to make our communication more efficient and effective.
This project is promoting adults’ social skills’ improvement through the project web portal on which users can personalise their training according to their needs and professions within ‘blue collar jobs’ and access content in user friendly and attractive manner. All contents have been prepared by taking into consideration the Knowles’ andragogy for EQF level 3 and 4.
The project partners come from Austria, England, Greece, Portugal and Turkey.
